let me get this straight, Australia is a rich and so advanced country and eventually cannot watch euro 2004 because it is on a pay-tv which i have to pay $300 for installation. while, Malaysia is a third-world-country and you can watch all the game on a free air television. does this sounds right to any of you?
EURO 2004 kick-off today with the host Portugal vs Greece. will the Golden generation live-up the reputation that made them dubbed as the 'brazil of Europe' or as usual, fail to contemplate the pressure. while all the hype has been happening in all over-the world except for this sooo isolated country who doesn't have any idea what soccer mean to the world, i'm stuck here. stuck with the book. stuck with the exam. stuck with everything. i'm sooo frustrated with melbourne and australia.. why Georgia?
why cant i just go back m'sia. to do that, i'm not just only gonna use my own money, but, i'm gonna start a cold-war with my dad. he's one of the reason i'm not gonna watch euro.. he doesnt want me to go back because the holiday is too short. TRUE. he also think that i should use my holidays as a platform to catching my study. TRUE as i'm soo behind in anatomy notes. he also think there's no strong reason for me to go back as i just spend 3 month in aussie after 3 1/2 month holiday in m'sia. TRUE. wonder what he gonna think if i told him that the REAL reason i wanna go back is to watch euro at the comfort of my own home. he already shaking his head everytime he wake up at 2.00 in the morning and find his daughter glued in front of the tv watching soccer. he doesnt think it's wrong but it doesnt sounds right for a girl to get so enthusiastic about soccer.
i think i'm on a strike to someone. but, as we always know, it is easier to be said that to be done. blame it in on the chicken pox.. it just take me 40 hours to abandon my strike. can someone actually get chicken pox 3 times and he's not 21 yet. hahahaha.. there's must be something wrong with his immune system. it sometimes can be evil where it can attack the good stuff in your body but, it this case it fail to protect the body from the herpesvirus. since, we are like 10 000 miles away, and it's not a good way to do a consultation by a phone call)... the best advice that i can give is bedrest, take fluid, or drug that can relief the itchiness and go to the real doc ( i'm not a doc yet)... sorry! still learning to be a good doc. my prayer is for you and my exam paper this wednesday!!
