when you're taking ur drug for some serious condition; just bear in mind that; the might be a chance the reason why the drugs works is at the expense of thousands of africans at the other side of the world..

pardon me; i've just watch "The Constant Gardener"



although it a romantic drama - based on a widowed husband who trying to progress back into his wife life, and a journey of discovery for him, who discovers a woman he never really knew.

but, the thing that struck me most from the movie is about THE drug companies who test their products on the poor of the Third World and are willing to accept the deaths that may occur because, after all, those people don't count. Why not? Because no one is there to count them.

Do drug companies really do this? this is a question that we as the consumers will never knows; the only who knows probably going to ended up like Ralph Fiennes and RAchel Wiesz in the movie!

a note : if u planning to watch the movie --> get a box of tissue beforehand [or if u already watch it; you know what i mean]

i just feel soooo sorry for ralph Fiennes.. his performance as the grieving husband; who takes up her cause and begins to lean of how wonderful his wife really was and what he missed during the time she was alive. His haunted performance is in my opinion his best ever and is the driving point of this haunting odyssey of justice, lost and self sacrifice.

and Rachel Weisz did deserve the oscar for her performance

definately one of the best movie that i saw this year; second only to Syriana
